Part III
Shortly after the Waco Siege surviving branch Davidians were put on trial for the death of officers and for the illegal possession and use of firearms. One of the Davidians was dismissed form the case but the other 11 were convicted on one way or another. As of July 2007 all the Davidians had been released form jail. The U.S government received a lot of criticism on how they handled the situation, and on the result which many believed to be the Governments fault. The remaining Davidians and their families attempted to sue the U.S but their case was denied for lack of evidence. The Oklahoma city bombing was performed on the 2nd year anniversary of the Waco Siege. Despite how big the event was when it happened the impact on todays society is little. Many people born after it dont even know what it was.
